It’s Thankful Thursday!

This Thursday we’re grateful for EVERYONE who contributed to the success of our first IN PERSON fundraiser. 🎉

Thank you SO MUCH to each and every person who helped organize, shared our posts, purchased tickets, invited friends, donated raffle items, and came TOGETHER to help make BINGO Night happen.

We had an AMAZING time gathering with our COMMUNITY and are thrilled to share that a total of $6,086 was raised.

What’s even better than the funding was being in a room full of people having fun and enjoying each others’ company. Did anyone else leave feeling that was just what they needed in the midst of all this winter cold and darkness? ☀️

Who’s ready for BINGO!?!?! 🎉

We can’t wait to see you TONIGHT at Seymour Congregational Church.
Doors open 6 pm. BINGO starts 7 pm.

Don’t forget to bring your snacks and nonalcoholic beverages. 🍿🥨🍎

Also be sure to bring some CASH 💵 for our raffle 🎟️. Raffle tickets are $20 for a sheet of 26. We have loads of AMAZING baskets for kids, pets, gardening, self care, and entertainment.

Huge thanks to EVERYONE who stepped up to support this event. Whether you purchased tickets, donated your time, or provided a raffle prize, we appreciate you!!!

Hello, community! We are experiencing some bare shelves due to snow delayed deliveries and reduced local food recovery availability.
If you can drop off some nonperishables, we sure could use them!

Meet Our Staff

Executive Director

Kristina Walton

Kristina became executive director of the food bank in 2024 and has worked alongside dedicated staff and volunteers to expand the hours and offerings available. Her passion is making sure all our neighbors have their needs met, including feeling seen, heard, and loved. When she is not at the food bank or in the community advocating for her neighbors, Kristina enjoys spending time with her husband Ty and 5 children who she steward's the Oxford Neighbor to Neighbor Pantry with out of their home.

Her super power is: Creating MAGIC

Operations Manager

Joslynn Hernandez

Joslynn joined our team as Operations Manager in 2025 after volunteering countless hours. She has a deep passion for helping others and brings valuable experience from TEAM Inc, Bridgeport Rescue Mission, and the Seymour Pumpkin Festival. Her favorite part about the Food Bank is meeting "wonderful people in our community", including all our awesome volunteers.

Her super power is: Not just remaining calm during the storm, but friendly and helpful.
